Marcel Robitaille
Research Intern
Marcel Robitaille is a proud Indigenous Canadian and graduate student in the Museum Studies program at the University of Toronto.
Before joining ILI as a Visitor Research Intern, Marcel earned a diploma in radio broadcasting and an undergrad degree in history, focusing on Canadian and Indigenous histories. His interests include examining ways in which media can be used to convey histories and Indigenous knowledge and discovering how interactable technologies can create visitor-led educational experiences within museums.
As an emerging museum professional, he is excited to work within a visitor research role creating engaging learning opportunities for families.
Marcel’s favorite free-choice learning activities are situated within nature. He can be found hiking the woods and exploring the terrain throughout Ontario – spending a good portion of his summers camping within the many National/Provincial parks that dot the landscape.
