The Institute for Learning Innovation is grateful to announce new support from the Oregon Community Foundation for the Head Start on Engineering project. This funding is made possible through the generous contributions of the WRG Foundation Fund, the Robert K. and Judith A. McDermott Foundation Fund, and an anonymous fund of the OCF. Head Start on Engineering is an integrated research-practice project designed to engage Head Start children and their families in early childhood engineering experiences in order to prepare them for school, work, and life. The project is led by the Institute in partnership with Mt. Hood Committee College Head Start, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), and the University of Notre Dame.
